When I first started blogging in 2010, I thought this would be a DIY-centered blog (hence Paint Chip Madness). And while that's not the case anymore, I'll always have a special place in my heart for Paint Chip Madness and paint chips, too.
In Its Time came about in the summer of 2013, when I decided to change my blog to better reflect my love and faith in Jesus Christ. To read more about why I chose In Its Time, click here.
WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO YOU HAVE?
As of 2014, I'm officially shooting with a Canon 60D. It's my newest baby and one that I'm still learning more about. Prior to that, I shot with a Canon Rebel XS.
As for lenses, I shoot primarily with my 35mm f/2 lens, but also have a 17-55mm f/2.8 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, too. If you want a recommendation for a starter lens, the nifty fifty is the way to go, in my opinion!
Oh, and I post photos from Instagram, too.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I live in the Pacific Northwest (and thus, went to school in the area as well). Right now, I'm actually living at home and loving it. I'm not completely comfortable telling the whole world my exact whereabouts, but when I do, you'll be the first to know.
ARE YOU ASIAN?
That's me! I'm a Japanese American, rice-eating, school-focused, chopstick-using, peace-sign-throwing kind of girl. Okay, so maybe not the last one. But I will go into serious rice withdrawal if I go without rice for a few days.
WHAT'S YOUR BLOGGING SCHEDULE LIKE?
I'm a firm believer in quality writing. I tried posting five days a week and found myself worn out and bored of blogging. I don't ever want to get tired of blogging, so I'm sticking with blogging with the heart and posting when my fingers feel like typing. So that means that sometimes I'll post five times a week and other times only once or twice.
